The Game

Overview

Internal Skies is played using 28mm miniatures on 25mm bases, airship movement trays, and dice.

Players build squadrons made up of ships and crew based on a weight limit decided for the match (the point system of the game) once they have decided their squadrons, players alternate deploying ships in their starting areas. Starting with the player with the least ships, players alternate activating ships (as well as the crew on board of them) the game is played over 5 rounds, at which time a winner is declared based on one of the 4 predetermined scenarios.

Cool aspects you may have never seen before!

Ships

Ships act as both movement trays for crew as well as provide additional aspects such as armor and heavier weapons than crew could carry on their own.

Weapons

Both individual crew members and ships are equipped to defend themselves. all weapons in the game use either D6 or D10 dice depending on their power. Weapons either target a section of the ships deck or the ship itself

Armor

Ships and crew have armor which can be modified by characters, or the ships they are on. If the dice rolled for damage are greater than the armor of their target, they deal damage equal to the how much greater it is.

Boarding

Crew can move from section to section, even jumping from ship to ship. crew on board an opponents ship activate with the ship they are on (even if it is on an opponents turn!) and can prevent enemy crewmembers from deck guns
